<td class="tableau_ext_bas" >« Le travail sur les techniques usuelles (calcul posé) doit faire l’objet d’un recentrage. Pour l’addition, la soustraction et la multiplication, leur usage dans des cas simples (résultat à deux, trois ou quatre chiffres) doit être assuré. Cependant, une part essentielle de l’activité doit résider dans la recherche de la compréhension et de la justification des techniques utilisées, ce qui conduit à retarder leur mise en place (par rapport à ce qui est fait habituellement) : à la fin du cycle 2 pour la technique de l’addition et au cycle 3 pour celles de la soustraction et de la multiplication. Pour la division, on se limitera à des calculs posés simples à la fin du cycle 3 (du type 432 divisé par 7 ou 432 divisé par 35), calculés en gardant la trace des soustractions effectuées et en ayant la possibilité de poser des produits annexes. Il est essentiel que, bien avant que les techniques écrites usuelles ne soient mises en place, les élèves soient invités à produire des résultats en élaborant et utilisant des procédures personnelles, non standard (mentalement ou en s’aidant d’un écrit ). »</td>

<li>Attention donc à ne pas reproduire sur ordinateur une situation similaire à celle qui a conduit l'élève à l'échec lors de l'évaluation, sans prendre le soin de lui apporter de nouveaux moyens, pas nécessairement issus des TICE...</li>
